How big are the fondues?
The Chocolate Fondue is free standing and comes in various sizes depending
on the size and nature of your event. The Chocolate Fondue (Pvt) is
currently the only manufacturer to offer the world’s largest
chocolate fountain, which has a height of nearly 5 feet!
Will you set it up for me?
The Original Chocolate Fondue Company will provide fully trained
staff to set up and man the chocolate fountain for you.
Will the staff be uniformed?
The staff arrives onsite wearing our monogrammed uniform for serving
guests, handling food and operating the fountain. The accompanying
chef who ensures a constant supply of freshly cut fruit is professionally
attired in chef whites.
What chocolate is used in the fountains?
There is a choice of dark chocolate (organic, 53-72% cocoa solid),
milk chocolate (35% cocoa solid) or white chocolate (33% cocoa)
in the fountain. We only use Calleaubat, the highest Belgian grade
courverture chocolate to melt and use in our fountains.
How many people can the chocolate fountain cater for?
We can cater from as little as 50 to as many as 1500 people. The
fountains can be constantly topped up with melted chocolate and
our bespoke glassware with delicious dippers and we will ensure
that you have enough chocolate and dips to feed your guests!
What dips do we use in it?
Let your imagination run wild. A wide variety of fruit that adhere
well to chocolate are wonderful to use, strawberries make a particularly
great dipper, as do pineapple and kiwi. We only use fresh fruits
which are hand picked by our chefs on the day of your event thus
our selection is limited at times to fruits of the season. You can
also use profiteroles, cake, sweets, coconut macaroons and other
baked goods. Marshmallows are a real favourite.
